AutoImager 3.03

AutoImager is full-featured batch-image-processing and -conversion software. More than 140 image formats are supported, and the software provides an entire arsenal of image-enhancement, editing, and processing operations. Multipage image conversion and processing is fully supported. Processing and conversion operations have numerous options that can be set for maximum control. The entire application is highly customizable. AutoImager also offers complete command-line support. With more than 150 configurable command-line options, it's easy to create batch files to automate routine image-processing/conversion tasks. You can set up your computer to run a batch file on a schedule and leave the routine image-processing tasks to AutoImager. Entire in-house imaging procedures also can be automated with ease, utilizing the command-line support provided.

Version 3.03 addresses an output path issue for command-line usage and increases installation speed.

Despite a few minor issues, this tool for editing and converting images strikes us as a quality choice. Once we opened the program, we were pleased to see a good-looking, straight-ahead interface that was fairly easy to use. AutoImager can convert files among a large number of formats in a matter of seconds, though we wish it prompted you to rename your new files. The program is equally stacked with editing features. You can perform simple actions, such as cropping and rotating, or get a bit more fancy, adding such effects as Gaussian blur or despeckling. While testing, we encountered a few stability problems, such as error windows appearing when we tried to activate certain filters. We also would prefer a longer trial for the download. Hobbyists who want to edit large collections of photos will find this program very handy.
