Running minimized in systray and loaded at system startup, BHO Zapper acts as a multi-purpose security tool providing protection for the critical areas of your system exposed to online attacks:

detects and removes unwanted browser helper objects from your system;
recognizes and removes spyware and adware applications;
manages all startup entries;
provides registry cleanup function for removing dead entries and increasing system speed;
creates backup copies of your registry files;
shows all open ports, with their corresponding IP addresses and protocols;
manages disk space in key areas such as Internet cache, temporary files, log files, recently used files and recycle bin;
regularly updates BHO database and allows user to submit custom startup entries for identification.
