When e-mail just isn't fast enough: The Flash Messaging System is a communication program in which all PCs on a network are able to send "popup" messages to each other with the click of the mouse. Meant to act as a supplement to e-mail, it works much like all the other Internet-based instant messaging systems, but with a few business-oriented bonuses. The server machine, for example, keeps a master log of all messages. Other features: optional encryption, auto-response, and the ability to send to predefined groups.
