Memeo is the only data backup product with Zero-Touch Data Preservation technology. Once you identify your important files easily with SmartPick, Memeo works automatically in the background to archive versions of your files immediately while you work. You can search for and restore files in seconds or restore your whole drive. Memeo does not require additional hardware. It can use other computers, hard disks, iPods, USB drives, and even online storage simultaneously for extra protection and convenience. Just choose the folders or file types you want Memeo to monitor, and it backs them up and automatically saves new or changed files. It also can save multiple versions of the same file. Memeo isn't picky about where your backups go. A hard drive, a USB device, an FTP server, or a Memeo Internet Disk (a for-pay remote storage space) are all OK. If a backup device temporarily goes down, the program doesn't complain, but simply waits until the device is back online. Memeo's biggest problem is it consumes a lot of memory (up to 50MB in some cases), even when idle. It also slowed our PC considerably when backing up large files.
