Pocket Astronomy Log 1.2

Pocket Astronomy Log is a compact, specialized astronomical database / logging system. Main features: 1. - Portable. No inconvienient bulky paper notebooks. 2. - Maintain multiple logs by category. All entries are composed in your own personal style. Your current Log is maintained internally in an ADO database table structure. 3. - Along with your logs textual data you can create and maintain full 24bit color graphic sketches. ALL from inside the logging system, in realtime, while at the observing location. 4. - An inventory of all your astronomical equipment may also be entered and will be available to be entered into the observation records. 5. - You can add text notes of up to ~32kb in length for each observation record. 6. - All current settings are saved when exiting the program and will be restored the next time Pocket Astronomy Log is started. 7. - Use PAL in conjunction with other mobile device astronomy software such as DeepSky2002(c), Pocket Universe(c) or The Sky Pocket Edition(c). 8. - Import and export log data files. 9. - Pocket Astronomy Log also allows you to monitor the power and memory usage of your handheld device. By clicking the "SysMon" button two colored bars will be displayed. The top bar indicates the amount of main memory currently in use. The lower bar indicates the status of the charge on the system battery. You may also have the system warn you when battery level drops to critical levels. 10. - The DEMO mode of Pocket Astronomy Log has some features disabled or limited in function. 11. - A companion desktop (PC) accessory application is in development and will be included in the distribution package. Previously registered users of Pocket Astronomy Log will receive the additional software as soon as it is complete. It will allow you to create and maintain your observational database(s) with all associated graphic sketches in a compact searchable format. Create and print full color reports of text and graphics.
